History

La Bastide de Sanilhac is an old feudal residence of the XIIth century offering an exceptional sunshine (Mediterranean climate) and a unique panorama. This house of character overlooks the magnificent valley of Sanilhac, its forest and its vineyards.

In addition to the cultural richness of the surroundings (Chauvet cave, Orgnac L'Aven) sportsmen and families will have the pleasure to find all the necessary infrastructures to exercise their passions (cycling, canoeing, canyoning, horse riding, hiking, motorcycles...).

Swimming in the numerous rivers around, visiting the main cities of the Gard, Vaucluse and Drome (Nimes, Avignon, Uzès, Vaizon la Romaine, Barjac) will fill you up and make you want to come and come back to our pretty sunny bastide.
